Our intention behind this film was to highlight the power of juxtaposition within a single location. We were fascinated by the notion that a space can transform from a chaotic hub of activity during the day, with people bustling by, bikes darting through, and a symphony of urban sounds filling the air, to a tranquil, deserted sanctuary in the late hours. We wanted to encapsulate the contrast between these two states and provoke a sense of introspection in the viewer.

The sound design played a crucial role in our storytelling process. We recognized the significance of capturing the various sounds that define the underpass: conversations, bike bells, car engines, and even the subtle whispers of nature. These auditory elements helped to enrich the narrative, offering an immersive experience that draws the audience into the world of the underpass.

As you embark on this visual journey, you will witness the underpass from darkness to darkness, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life. We deliberately chose to begin and end the film in darkness to emphasize the transient nature of time and the continuous cycle of activity within the space. By doing so, we hope to evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue, leaving the audience with a lingering curiosity about their own personal journey.
