Taken Scene Recreation
At the end of our first term at Uni, we were challenged to re-create any scene from a film. We recreated a scene from the film Taken, focusing on capturing its essence and intensity. Meticulously studying the source material, we paid attention to every detail, from the actors’ performances to the cinematography and sound design. The reception was overwhelmingly positive, and I was proud to be the producer and sound designer.

There was a lot of planning that went into this film. You can read all about it in my blog. But the final version is as close as we could’ve gotten it considering the challenge. We had a limited number of lights, only one opportunity to film and the deadline of our train back to Edinburgh. Below is the side by side to exaggerate our accuracy.
